Guiding Good Choices
Join us for this FREE workshop series. Guiding Good Choices, an evidence-based program for people helping to raise youth ages 8 - 14. Parents, Grandparents, Care Providers, anyone who is parenting or helping to parent youth can benefit from this award winning program.
Learn how you can enhance family communication; confidently talk to youth about drugs and alcohol; promote healthy decision making; and teach skills to resist peer pressure. Families that participate in Guiding Good Choices learn to have less family conflict and more family management.
Guiding Good Choices is delivered in 5, 2-hour sessions covering a variety of topics related to communication, substance use prevention and conflict resolution. All sessions will be held Tuesday nights in the Community Room at Bayliss Public Library from 6 to 8pm.
- Preventing Drug Use in Your Family - November 13th
- Setting Guidelines - November 20th
- Avoiding Trouble - November 27th (youth are invited to attend this session with their parents)
- Managing Conflict - December 4th
- Strengthening Family Bonds - December 18th
