Clara has a Licensed Bachelor of Social Work degree and is a Certified Prevention Specialist.  She graduated from Lake Superior State University where she played volleyball and softball for the University and pursued a degree in Therapeutic Recreation.  She completed her internship at the United States Naval Retirement facility in Biloxi, Mississippi.  She has worked previously for Hiawatha Behavioral Health, Tendercare, and Sault Schools coaching.  Clara is currently working for Chippewa County Health Department in the Prevention Program coordinating the Communities that Care Coalition, teaching Prime for Life Alcohol and Marijuana Education at the SHACC, and heading up the Tobacco Control Grant.
